Clearly this seems to be a time for action more than words. <\/p>\n<p>Revisiting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.robertpeake.com\/archives\/288-why-poetry-matters-now.html\">an essay from 2007<\/a>, written in the wake of US censorship of Iranian poetry, I began to re-formulate and re-work some thoughts from this piece into an argument with and for myself about why creative acts still matter.<\/p>\n<p>You can read the results in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/entry\/58c7c613e4b022817b2916c4\">a new short piece on The Huffington Post<\/a>.
