Due to frequent requests, I have made a small selection of sample poems available on this website to read online, download, or print. Having mentioned on public radio how much I prefer to have my work appear in a reader’s lap, in a mindset more conducive to reading a poem than the mindset I find myself in while surfing the web, this move may seem hypocritical. But many people have asked for a single place to sample my work and, since I ran out of letterpress chapbooks a long time ago, this seems like the best option. All of these poems have been previously published in one form or another. I also put together a PDF version for those of you who, like me, still want the option to print. Enjoy!

Yay!
Hey, my word-recognition words for this post are “words robert.” How strange is that?
Truly weird, Dana. The words come from the re-captcha project (recaptcha.net), which derives its words from digitized books. So, either a) you’re pulling my leg or b) that was a truly synchronicitous event. My legs are already of slightly uneven length. So, if any part of this is fabricated, please work on the shorter leg first. I’m hoping it will even them out.
