I loved reading this blog! The only thing I would add is to capitalize and bold TREMENDOUS. His smile and words still inspire and encourage me. In one workshop he led me to discover my writing voice and opened a new world to me but he acted like I had done him a favor. When I notified him of my first local poetry award he made me feel it was worth millions. I couldn't then and will never be able to thank him enough for his life work and the enriching gift and treasure poetry and Sandy Lyne are to my life.
