Robert, I was just wondering if I could ge t a look at your css style sheet for serindipity. I am trying to create a banner simmilar in effect to yours, but keep coming up with two images. Thanks
The statement in the article about the acronym, "PHP, originally known as Personal Home Page," is accurate. The new acronym, "PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor," was chosen after a discussion on the php-dev mailing list in early 1998.
Wow. Who knew? Was this PHP3? Or still back when PHP was known as PHP/FI?
The name change was prompted by the PHP 3 release, so the two events occured in parallel.

This was all before I was involved, so I don’t remember how "Hypertext" was substituted in place of "HTML" in the acronym that seemed to be agreed upon, "PHP: HTML Preprocessor."
