Just a quick note on the subject of poetry readings to say there’s a provocative piece on the subject over at Robert Archambeau’s blog. It’s a shame he doesn’t have comments enabled, as I’m sure from the comments my own post gathered that this is a topic of interest to the community, and Robert raises some interesting questions. I particularly enjoyed his introduction of the quote by Marianne Moore, though I disagree that poetry readings are something that Enrich Life in the past tense. The best readings (though too few, I admit) always nail me to the present.
