Poem Online in Barely South Review

I am pleased to have one of my poems appear in Issue Two of Barely South Review, the online literary journal of the MFA Program at Old Dominion University.

I actually recall bringing this poem to the first day of the first workshop of my own MFA program. I had been reading Louise Glück’s The Wild Iris and contemplating the story of Job in a grief-wracked state. These elements fused together into the first draft of what eventually became this poem.
