Andrew Legaz posted my file to the Blender Repository and sent me this great link to a Python script that does the work of rotating the camera and exporting the frames for you:

WRT QTVR (but not Blender), if you are in LA you can see Dave Palermo - one of the premier QTVR makers and Apple’s former evangelist for QTVR - this coming weekend in North Hollywood at the MacGathering. I saw him last year and it was a good education in sixty minutes.
Note: I am not affiliated with the conference; I just think that anybody who is getting into QTVR should see Palermo’s work and hear him speak. His is the epitome of the artist who exploits the technology.
